FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What about freedom of speech? We at PictureView are supporters of free speech and embrace the diversity of ideas and opinions available on the internet as well as on the USENET. It if for that reason that we are proud to be members of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. The Electronic Frontier Foundation is a non-profit civil liberties organization working in the public interest to protect privacy, free expression, and access to public resources and information online, as well as to promote responsibility in new media. If you are concerned about free speech issues and the Internet, we highly encourage you to visit their site. How much information does PictureView keep about me? Other than essential billing information, PictureView does not keep any logs or records that track your use of our service. We do track overall trends in the load on our servers, but not at a member level. We are strong believers of our member's right to privacy. Does PictureView sell or give away information about me? No, other than communicating with the bank for billing purposes, PictureView never sells, gives, trades, or in any way transmits any information about our members to third parties. We don't solicit via e-mail, fax, or snail mail and don't help others do so. Again, we treat our members the way we'd like to be treated-with respect for our rights to privacy. |
